About The Richmond Music School
The Richmond Music School is a non-profit society incorporated in February 1980 and registered with the Federal Government in July 1980.
The school is dedicated to providing high quality music education in a growing community. Twenty-five percent of the students who attended during the 2005/2006 school year took Royal Conservatory and Associated Board examinations, passing with Distinction, First Class Honours and Honours. In addition RMS students won over 45 awards in music competitions. Students of all ages are included in the school “family”. Various philosophies of education provide students with musical skills together with an appreciation and knowledge of music.
The cultural life of Richmond is enriched by the variety of first-class programs and recitals offered each year by the school’s internationally trained faculty and by the distinguished musicians who visit the school as performers and clinicians.
