RMS Choir
​
RMS Choir is an add- on program offered to students currently registered at Richmond Music School. The program gives young singers the opportunity to develop their voices, strengthen their musicianship, and perform as part of a committed ensemble.
Students will work on vocal technique, pitch, rhythm, harmony, expression, stage presence, and ensemble singing. Repertoire will include a variety of musical styles selected to suit the group and upcoming performance opportunities.
RMS Choir will participate in RMS school concerts,senior homes, and selected community performances throughout the school year. Regular attendance and participation in scheduled performances are expected.

Digital Audition
​
Students interested in joining RMS Choir are required to submit a short video or audio recording of themselves singing a song of their choice (1-2 minutes). The recording does not need to be professionally produced. A simple recording made on a phone or tablet is acceptable.
​
The audition helps RMS assess the student’s vocal readiness, pitch accuracy, confidence, and suitability for ensemble singing. Submission instructions will be provided upon registration.

Program Confirmation
​
RMS Choir is a new program and requires a minimum enrolment of 15 accepted students to proceed. Families will be notified once the program is confirmed. If the minimum enrolment is not reached, the program will not run and any fees collected will be refunded.

Please note there needs to be a minimum of 15 students to confirm the class. Cancellation will be notified by September 12, 2026 if necessary. Non-refundable, no make up lessons and no cancellations permitted. In the event of Teacher's cancellation, there will be no refunds or makeup lessons. There will be guaranteed a minimum of 30 lessons during the three school terms
*An annual membership charge of $50.00 per household applies beginning July 1 each year. This membership is required prior to registration and before any lessons begin. Annual membership is effective from July 1 to June 30 for each academic year.
