"All children are born musical. Planting the musical seed in young children in the early years, parents and teachers act as the “gardeners” who provide a suitable environment and nurturing to enable the seed to grow and develop to its full potential."

                                       -  Principal Karrie Tam

"The Tiny Tots Piano Program isn’t just a piano program; it has truly helped my 2-year-old son in so many ways. While we’re not planning or training him to become a pianist, we believe that piano classes are a wonderful way to help develop his cognitive skills, creativity, coordination, and concentration on learning. We’ve been part of the program for almost a year now, and the progress has been incredible. When we first started, my son couldn’t sit still or follow the teacher’s instructions. Now, he can concentrate for the entire lesson and even use one finger to play piano notes! It’s been amazing to witness his growth, and we’re so grateful for everything the program has offered."

Tiny Tots Piano Program (Ages 2–5)

The Tiny Tots Piano Program is a joyful, play-based introduction to music for young children. This 30-minute* class is designed for children ages 2–5 to attend with a parent or caregiver. Guided by experienced Early Childhood Music teachers in small classes (max. 4 children), activities are developmentally appropriate and child-centred, allowing children to discover and enjoy music at their own pace while building comfort and confidence in a group setting.

Classes offer hands-on music-making through piano playing on a little piano with real piano sound, sized for little hands, along with exploration of real percussion instruments, movement, singing, musical games, and simple musical creation. Parents are active participants, supporting connection, shared learning, and bonding through musical activities. Each term highlights one main musical focus while reinforcing core, fundamental musical skills, allowing learning to develop gradually. Families are encouraged to enrol for at least four terms to allow time for skills and confidence to develop naturally before beginning private instrumental lessons.

Through these experiences, children naturally develop:

  • a sense of beat and rhythm

  • listening skills and awareness of pitch

  • early finger and hand coordination

  • creativity, confidence, and self-expression through music

  • motor skills, cognitive development, and supporting healthy brain development

The program provides a positive first music experience and lays a strong foundation for future musical instrument learning.
