TTPP+ (Ages 3 – 5.5)

TTPP+ is the next step after our Tiny Tots Piano Program. Designed for young children who are ready to develop stronger foundational music and piano skills, this small-group class combines basic piano playing with creative, Dalcroze-inspired music and movement activities.

Students will learn on full-size, 88-key digital pianos with weighted, touch-sensitive keys. Through age-appropriate and game-like exercises, they will develop introductory skills in note reading, rhythm and counting, dynamics, keyboard awareness, and basic piano technique.

A unique part of TTPP+ is learning to experience and embody music through movement. Students will explore rhythm by moving to music, respond creatively to different sounds and musical ideas, and bring music to life through movement, singing, listening, and imaginative activities. These experiences help students express themselves, develop creativity, and build a deeper understanding of musical concepts before applying them at the piano.

TTPP+ is suitable for students ages 3 to 5.5 who have completed at least three terms of TTPP. Students who have not previously attended TTPP must be at least 5.5 years old.

Location: Richmond Music School

Class Length: 30 minutes per week

Format: Small group class (max 4 students per class)

Parent or guardian participation is required

Fall Term Dates: October 10 - November 28, 2026

Time: 11:00am to 11:30am

Fee: $192.00 (8 weeks)*

Fall Registration opens Aug 3, 2026

*An annual membership charge of $50.00 per household applies beginning July 1 each year. Memberships registered after January 1 are prorated to $25.00. Summer session registration fees are prorated to $15.00. This membership is required prior to registration and before any lessons begin. Annual membership is effective from July 1 to June 30 for each academic year.
