RCM Level 9 Harmony Group Course​

Fee*: $900 (28 weeks+additional mock exam sessions)

Richmond Music School is pleased to offer a group course for students preparing for the Royal Conservatory of Music Level 9 Harmony examination.

​

This course is designed for students who are ready to study harmony in a structured and supportive group setting. Students will learn the required concepts for RCM Level 9 Harmony, develop their written theory skills, and build confidence in preparation for the examination.

​

Classes will run once a week on Thursdays from September 2026 to May 2027. The course includes 28 weekly group lessons plus extra mock exam sessions if necessary, with each class being one hour in length.

Duration: September 24, 2026 to May 6, 2027

Total Classes: 28 weeks of weekly group lessons

 

Exam Preparation: Sample exams and review sessions included for students preparing for the May examination

Next Step: Successful students may progress to RCM Level 10 Harmony

Maximum: 4 students in a group

Materials/Supplies: (not included in the course fee)

​

students need to purchase the RCM Harmony Workbook/Textbook on their own, prepare a binder with single space paper, and manuscript, pencils, and eraser

*An annual membership charge of $50.00 per household applies beginning July 1 each year. Memberships registered after January 1 are prorated to $25.00. Summer session registration fees are prorated to $15.00. This membership is required prior to registration and before any lessons begin. Annual membership is effective from July 1 to June 30 for each academic year
