Group Beginners' Violin Program

April 5 , 2023 to June 21, 2023 (Wednesdays)

RMS Violin Lessons for Beginners (Examination path) (Ages 6-8) $240 (12 weeks - 1 hour)   5pm -6 pm

Young students just starting on the violin can have fun and get to know each other in groups while building their confidence and learning the basics of music and performance.

Students graduate from group sessions after reaching the Royal Conservatory of Music Violin Prep Level or ABRSM initial grade in playing and understanding the concepts, or when they reach the age limit for the program (Teacher will make the decision).

After completing group violin classes, students should transition to private violin lessons with our teachers. Students will be fitted for a violin after registration. Our school offers violin rentals for our registered students, subject to availability.

Group Violin Lessons Beginners (Ages 16+) $240  (12 weeks- 1 hour)   6pm -7pm

This course is intended for youth and adults above the age of 16. In a friendly and supportive group setting, you will learn the fundamentals of the violin, including how to hold it and balance the bow to produce a beautiful tone. The course includes instrument maintenance, musical notation, and fundamental musicianship for string players. This is a great way to learn in a short amount of time, and it will help you decide if the violin is the right instrument for you.
